Significance
Corps named in honour of Charles B. Hill, who, during his career with the Welfare Department of the Alberta Government, was responsible for the placing of thousands of orphan children into Foster Homes.
Mr. Hill contributed many years of Service to the Navy League of Canada. He served on Edmonton Branch, Northern Alberta Division, and the National Council.
The Dolphin is known for the service it provided sailors lost at sea. In the crest, the dolphin signifies the service provided by Charles B. Hill to children lost in the sea of life.
